Description

This Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the indirect in vitro quantitative determination of Interferon gamma Receptor alpha (phospho Tyr457) levels in adherent and suspension cells, achieving qualitative determination through an indirect ELISA format. The kit is reactive with human samples at Tyr457, mouse at Tyr445, and rat at Tyr432, with no reported cross-reactivity. The target protein, IFNGR1, is also known by the synonyms CD119, CDw119, IFN-gamma receptor 1, IFN-gamma-R-alpha, IFN-gamma-R1, Interferon gamma receptor 1, and Interferon gamma receptor alpha-chain.

In the assay, the phosphorylated target is captured by Anti-Interferon gamma Receptor alpha (phospho Tyr457) Antibodies and detected by HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, producing a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. The assay has a range of > 5000 Cells, runs for 4 hours 30 minutes, and uses a Tissue Culture Treated Microplate platform with colorimetric detection. Three normalization methods are included: an Anti-GAPDH Antibody as an internal positive control, Crystal Violet whole-cell staining to determine cell density, and an Anti-Interferon gamma Receptor alpha Antibody for normalizing against the non-phosphorylated target.

The kit should be stored at + 4°C, where it remains stable for 3-6 months.
