Integrin beta 1 (phospho Thr788) Cell Based ELISA Kit

Made available by Antibodies.com, this Cell-Based ELISA Kit is designed for the indirect in vitro determination of Integrin beta 1 (phospho Thr788) in adherent and suspension cells. It is reactive with Human (Thr788), Mouse (Thr788) and Rat (Thr789), and no cross-reactivity is reported.

The assay uses a Tissue Culture Treated Microplate in a colorimetric, cell-based format and is completed in 4 hours 30 minutes. Phosphorylated target is captured by anti-Integrin beta 1 (phospho Thr788) antibodies and detected using HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, with substrate addition producing a measurable colorimetric signal. Three normalization approaches are described: an anti-GAPDH antibody as an internal positive control, Crystal Violet whole-cell staining to account for cell density, and an anti-Integrin beta 1 antibody that allows the non-phosphorylated signal to be used for normalizing the phosphorylated signal.

Suitable for use with greater than 5000 cells, the kit should be stored at +4 °C and is stated to remain stable for 3–6 months. Integrin beta 1 is also known by the synonyms CD29, Fibronectin receptor subunit beta, FNRB, Glycoprotein IIa, GPIIA, Integrin beta-1, ITGB1, MDF2, MSK12 and VLA-4 subunit beta.
