Human YY1 Transcription Factor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human YY1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay employs an antibody specific for YY1 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, captured YY1 is bound by a biotinylated anti-YY1 antibody, and HRP-avidin with TMB substrate is used for detection. The reaction is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with YY1 concentration calculated against a standard curve.

The kit reports a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.059 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Sample recovery has been characterised in serum (range 80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80–89%, average 84%), with dilution linearity evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
