Human Xeroderma Pigmentosum, Complementation Group C ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Xeroderma Pigmentosum, Complementation Group C (XPC) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated microplate with a biotinylated anti-XPC detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate; TMB substrate yields a yellow product that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer, the assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml and the sensitivity is <0.115 ng/ml. The full protocol takes 4 hours and 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as indicated, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.

Validation data (n=5) report average recovery of 91% (range 80–102%) in serum, 90% (81–100%) in EDTA plasma, and 84% (80–89%) in heparin plasma. Linearity is reported at sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma matrices.
