Human Xanthine Dehydrogenase ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Xanthine Oxidase in serum, plasma, breast milk and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-Xanthine Oxidase detection antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the colorimetric reaction is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The assay has a sensitivity of 0.055 ng/ml and a working range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. In serum (n=5), recovery ranges from 80-102% with a 91% average, in EDTA plasma (n=5) from 81-100% averaging 90%, and in heparin plasma (n=5) from 80-89% averaging 84%. Across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, linearity for serum spans 87-91% to 92-97%, EDTA plasma 90-105% to 79-108%, and heparin plasma 84-95% to 89-91%. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and must not be used past the expiration date.
