Human WNT1 Inducible Signaling Pathway Protein 1 ELISA Kit

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human WISP1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate bearing an immobilised anti-WISP1 antibody; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-WISP1 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added and, after stop solution, the colour is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with WISP1 concentration calculated against a standard curve. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.

The manufacturer states a sensitivity of 11.9 pg/ml, an assay range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recovery is 91% in serum (n=5, range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (n=5, range 80–89%). The kit is intended for use with a colorimetric microplate reader.
