Human Wingless Type MMTV Integration Site Family, Member 5B ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative in vitro determination of human Wnt5b (Wingless Type MMTV Integration Site Family, Member 5B) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. It employs a sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microplate, with colourimetric detection by absorbance measurement at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 0.53 ng/ml and an assay range of 1.56-100 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample recovery data (n=5) give average values of 91% for serum (range 83-100%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 90-99%) and 96% for heparin plasma (range 91-101%). Standards and samples bind to an immobilised anti-Wnt5b capture antibody, followed by a biotinylated anti-Wnt5b detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with the enzymatic reaction visualised by TMB substrate. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
