Human Wingless Type MMTV Integration Site Family, Member 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Wnt1 (Wingless Type MMTV Integration Site Family, Member 1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-Wnt1 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Captured Wnt1 is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose intensity is proportional to target concentration and is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is 0.059 ng/ml with a quantitative range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, and a typical run time of approximately 4h 30m. Standards are supplied lyophilised for preparation of a dilution series in Sample Dilution Buffer. Components include Detection Solutions A and B, a 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers, with kit storage at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.

Validation data show average recoveries in spiked serum (91%, range 80–102%), EDTA plasma (90%, range 81–100%) and heparin plasma (84%, range 80–89%), with linearity assessed at dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16.
