Human Von Willebrand Factor Cleaving Protease ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human ADAMTS13 (Von Willebrand Factor Cleaving Protease) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay is specific for human samples and uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate (12 x 8 well strips) with a biotinylated anti-ADAMTS13 detection antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, producing a colourimetric signal read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Performed as a quantitative sandwich immunoassay with a run time of 4 hours 30 minutes, the kit has a measuring range of 62.5–4000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <21.5 pg/ml. Reported spike-and-recovery values are 80%–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81%–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma, and 80%–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma, with dilution linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
