Human Villin 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Villin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate and a biotinylated anti-Villin detection antibody with an HRP-avidin conjugate; bound analyte is visualised with TMB substrate and the absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer, the product range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.054 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Reported spike-recovery values averaged 91% for serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (81–100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (80–89%, n=5), with linear dilution performance demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for all three sample types.
