Human VEGF Co Regulated Chemokine 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CXCL17/DMC (also known as VEGF Co-Regulated Chemokine 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique: an antibody specific for CXCL17/DMC is pre-coated onto a 12 x 8 well strip microtitre plate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-CXCL17/DMC detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added; catalysis produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with the density of yellow proportional to the amount of CXCL17/DMC captured. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The stated product range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml and sensitivity is <4.7 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery was 80-102% for serum (n=5, average 91%), 81-100% for EDTA plasma (n=5, average 90%) and 80-89% for heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%). Linearity on serial dilution from 1:2 to 1:16 was demonstrated across the same three sample types. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the stated expiration date.
