Human Vasorin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Vasorin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-Vasorin detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, with the colourmetric end-point read at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <0.148 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, and the protocol completes in approximately 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated on the individual vials.

Spike-and-recovery performance has been characterised across sample matrices: serum (n=5) showed 80-102% recovery (average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5) 81-100% (average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5) 80-89% (average 84%). Linearity-of-dilution recovery across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions was 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% respectively for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma (n=5 each).
