The kit applies a quantitative sandwich immunoassay technique: an antibody specific for VEGF Receptor 3 is pre-coated onto a microplate, standards and samples are added, and bound target is detected using a biotinylated anti-VEGF Receptor 3 antibody followed by HRP-Avidin and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a yellow product whose density is proportional to the amount of VEGF Receptor 3 captured; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and concentration is calculated against the standard curve.
