Human Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor D ELISA Kit

An in vitro quantitative sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the measurement of human Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor D (VEGFD). The assay is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate with an antibody specific for VEGFD. Standards and samples are added; captured VEGFD is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-VEGFD Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, producing a colour change proportional to VEGFD concentration. The reported product range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <6.1 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Average recovery values (n=5) were 91% (range 80–102%) for serum, 90% (range 81–100%) for EDTA plasma, and 84% (range 80–89%) for heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
