Human Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor A ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human VEGFA in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is read colorimetrically at 450 nm.

The product range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml and the sensitivity is <6.1 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Matrix evaluation data are reported by the manufacturer on n=5 samples, with ranges and averages of: serum 80–102% (91%), EDTA plasma 81–100% (90%) and heparin plasma 80–89% (84%). Serial dilution performance is also reported at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same matrices, with serum between 74–107%, EDTA plasma between 79–108% and heparin plasma between 82–105%.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer (30X), sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date.
