Human Vascular Cell Adhesion Molecule 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Vascular Cell Adhesion Molecule 1 (VCAM1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique using a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with detection via an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, measured at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a product range of 0.781–50 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.33 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Supplied components are a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solution A, detection solution B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers, to be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.

In dilution linearity testing across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, reported recovery ranges were 74–107% for serum, 79–108% for EDTA plasma and 82–105% for heparin plasma, with averages of 91%, 90% and 84% respectively.
