Human Vanin 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) enables in vitro quantitative determination of human VNN1/Vanin-1 in serum, plasma, urine, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with an antibody specific for VNN1/Vanin-1. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where the target binds to the immobilised antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-VNN1/Vanin-1 Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate visualises the reaction by producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is below 31 pg/ml, with a measuring range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Average recovery values are 91% for serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5).
