Human Valosin Containing Protein ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative measurement of human Valosin Containing Protein (VCP) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-VCP detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate, followed by TMB substrate read at 450 nm.

Quantitative performance is reported as an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.122 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and detection is colourimetric on a standard microplate reader.

Validation in serum (n=5), EDTA plasma (n=5) and heparin plasma (n=5) gives average recoveries of 91%, 90% and 84% respectively, with sample-dilution linearity data provided for each matrix. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
