Human Vaccinia Related Kinase 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Vaccinia Related Kinase 1 (VRK1) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated microplate format with a biotinylated anti-VRK1 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. Reactivity is specific to human samples.

The assay has a quantitative range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.062 ng/ml. Reported recovery values are: serum (n=5) range 80%–102%, average 91%; EDTA plasma (n=5) range 81%–100%, average 90%; and heparin plasma (n=5) range 80%–89%, average 84%. Sample linearity upon dilution at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was demonstrated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples (n=5 each). Total assay time is approximately 4h 30m, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
