Human V-Fos FBJ Murine Osteosarcoma Viral Oncogene Homolog ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the quantitative determination of human c-Fos (V-Fos FBJ Murine Osteosarcoma Viral Oncogene Homolog) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, a biotinylated anti-c-Fos detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Performance characteristics supplied by the manufacturer include an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, a sensitivity of <0.064 ng/ml and a total assay time of approximately 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery testing gave average recoveries of 91% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma and 84% in heparin plasma, and dilution linearity from 1:2 to 1:16 was demonstrated across all three matrices.
