From Antibodies.com, this Human ErbB3/HER3 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay designed for the quantitative determination of human ErbB3/HER3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format, with detection by a biotinylated anti-ErbB3/HER3 antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised after addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450nm using a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a stated sensitivity of <32 pg/ml and a working range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml, with a total run time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery performance is reported for serum (n=5, range 80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%-89%, average 84%).
