Human V-Erb A Erythroblastic Leukemia Viral Oncogene Homolog 4 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human ErbB4/HER4 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml and the sensitivity is <0.062 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Spike-and-recovery performance has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5 each). Serum recovery falls within 80–102% with an average of 91%; EDTA plasma within 81–100% with an average of 90%; heparin plasma within 80–89% with an average of 84%. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions has been evaluated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma matrices. The procedure follows a standard sandwich immunoassay format using a biotinylated anti-ErbB4/HER4 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a colour change proportional to captured ErbB4/HER4 that is quantified by reference to a standard curve.
