Human Urocortin 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com enables quantitative in vitro determination of human Urocortin 3 in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The kit uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Urocortin 3, with a biotinylated anti-Urocortin 3 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate forming the sandwich complex. Following incubation with TMB substrate and acidic stop solution, absorbance is read at 450 nm and the Urocortin 3 concentration is calculated against a standard curve.

The assay covers a measuring range of 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.069 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery validation on undiluted samples shows ranges of 80–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma, and 80–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. The kit includes a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 × 8 well strips), lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, sample dilution buffer, wash buffer (30X), TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, with components stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated.
