Human Urocortin 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the quantitative determination of human Urocortin 2 (UCN2/SRP) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for UCN2/SRP is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), and the assay is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

The reported product range is 1.56-100 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.57 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. After incubation of standards and samples, wells are washed and probed with a Biotinylated Anti-UCN2/SRP Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; the absorbance density is proportional to UCN2/SRP concentration and is read against the standard curve.
