Human Uracil Phosphoribosyltransferase ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Uracil Phosphoribosyltransferase (UPRT) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with anti-UPRT antibody, a biotinylated anti-UPRT detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a colour change proportional to UPRT concentration. Absorbance is read at 450 nm. Total run time is 4 hours 30 minutes and a colourimetric microplate reader is used.

Reported sensitivity is 0.051 ng/ml and the quantitative range is 0.156-10 ng/ml. In spiked-sample testing (n=5 per matrix), recovery averaged 91% in serum (range 80-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81-100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80-89%). Linearity across dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
