Human UDP Glucuronosyltransferase 2 Family, Polypeptide B7 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human UGT2B7 (UDP Glucuronosyltransferase 2 Family, Polypeptide B7) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for UGT2B7. Standards and samples are added to the wells and the captured UGT2B7 is bound by a Biotinylated Anti-UGT2B7 Antibody, followed by incubation with an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue colour that changes to yellow on addition of acidic stop solution; the density of yellow is proportional to the amount of UGT2B7 captured, and the concentration is calculated by reading the optical density at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader against a standard curve.

The assay has a sensitivity of 0.113 ng/ml and a quantitative range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.
