Human Ubiquitin Specific Peptidase 14 ELISA Kit

The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate onto which an antibody specific for USP14/TGT has been immobilised; standards and test samples are added to the wells, and the captured target is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-USP14/TGT Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate solution. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that converts to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and the concentration of USP14/TGT is calculated from the optical density read at 450 nm in a microplate reader against a standard curve.

The stated assay range is 0.312-20 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of <0.108 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported values (n=5) include ranges of 83-100% (average 91%) for serum, 90-103% (average 96%) for EDTA plasma, and 89-102% (average 95%) for heparin plasma. Values at serial dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16 are reported between 73% and 110% across the same sample types (n=5).
