Human Ubiquitin D ELISA Kit

The assay is reactive with human samples and uses a pre-coated microplate platform with a colorimetric detection read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. An antibody specific for FAT10 is pre-coated onto the plate; standards and test samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-FAT10 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue colour that changes to yellow after addition of an acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the amount of FAT10 captured in each well, and the concentration is calculated by referring to a standard curve.

The stated assay range is 3.12-200 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <1.34 ng/ml. Recovery has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples across multiple dilutions. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
