From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) is configured for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Ubiquitin Conjugating Enzyme E2C (UBE2C) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The procedure uses a pre-coated microplate with a biotinylated anti-UBE2C detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate; a TMB substrate yields a colourmetric end-point read at 450 nm. The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.053 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recovery values are 91% in serum, 96% in EDTA plasma and 94% in heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
