Human Ubiquitin Associated Protein 2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Ubiquitin Associated Protein 2 (UBAP2) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and a biotinylated anti-UBAP2 detection antibody in combination with an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate, which yields a blue product that turns yellow on addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is less than 0.136 ng/ml and the quantitative range is 0.312-20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spiking recovery averaged 91% in serum (n=5, range 80-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81-100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (n=5, range 80-89%). Linearity was tested at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions: serum gave 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97%; EDTA plasma gave 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108%; heparin plasma gave 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% (n=5 per matrix).

Reactivity is confirmed for human samples.
