Human Ubiquilin 2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Ubiquilin 2 (UBQLN2) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The procedure uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for UBQLN2. Standards and samples are added to the wells and bound by the immobilised antibody. After incubation and washing, a biotinylated anti-UBQLN2 detection antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The assay has a stated range of 1.56–100 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.64 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery testing reports ranges of 80%–102% in serum (average 91%), 81%–101% in EDTA plasma (average 91%), and 80%–89% in heparin plasma (average 84%). Dilution linearity data are reported at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 for serum (87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101%, 92–97%), EDTA plasma (90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101%, 79–108%), and heparin plasma (84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105%, 89–91%).

Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated on the labels and the kit must not be used past its expiration date. The product is reactive with human samples and is intended for research applications measuring UBQLN2 by sandwich ELISA.
