Human Tyrosine Hydroxylase ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Tyrosine Hydroxylase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay is performed on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and follows a sandwich immunoassay workflow in which the target is captured by an immobilised antibody, detected with a biotinylated anti-Tyrosine Hydroxylase antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, then visualised using TMB substrate with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, with a reported sensitivity of <0.115 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Validation data show recoveries of 80–102% (average 91%, n=5) in serum, 81–99% (average 90%, n=5) in EDTA plasma, and 80–89% (average 84%, n=5) in heparin plasma.
