Human Twisted Gastrulation Protein Homolog 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Twisted Gastrulation Protein Homolog 1 (TWSG1/TSG) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for TWSG1/TSG. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, and the captured analyte is detected with a biotinylated anti-TWSG1/TSG antibody followed by HRP-avidin and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The reported sensitivity is <0.112 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery performance has been characterised in serum (average 91%, range 80–102%, n=5), EDTA plasma (average 90%, range 81–100%, n=5) and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80–89%, n=5).
