Human Tumor Protein p53 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com provides this sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative determination of human p53 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatant and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with an anti-p53 capture antibody. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-p53 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm. The assay range is 78.1-5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 27 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Spike-and-recovery has been validated in serum (average 91%, range 83%-100%, n=5), EDTA plasma (average 94%, range 90%-99%, n=5) and heparin plasma (average 96%, range 91%-101%, n=5). Linear dilution behaviour has been demonstrated from 1:2 to 1:16 in the same matrices. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
