Human Tumor Necrosis Factor Related Apoptosis Inducing Ligand ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com assay is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human TRAIL (Tumor Necrosis Factor Related Apoptosis Inducing Ligand). The kit is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and uses a pre-coated microplate platform with HRP-Avidin detection and TMB substrate, read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The quantitative range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity below 0.059 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values are: serum (n=5) range 80%–102%, average 91%; EDTA plasma (n=5) range 81%–100%, average 90%; heparin plasma (n=5) range 80%–89%, average 84%. Linearity has been characterised across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
