Human Tumor Necrosis Factor Ligand Superfamily, Member 12 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human TWEAK (Tumor Necrosis Factor Ligand Superfamily, Member 12) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate and uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. A Biotinylated Anti-TWEAK Antibody binds the captured analyte, detection is achieved with an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, and the resulting colour change is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader with TWEAK concentration calculated against a standard curve.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of <11.3 pg/ml and an assay range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml, with an assay time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery averages were 91% for serum (n=5, range 83%-100%), 94% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 90%-98%) and 95% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 89%-102%). Dilution linearity data is provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions.
