Human Tumor Necrosis Factor Beta ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Tumor Necrosis Factor Beta (LTA) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, with colourimetric detection using TMB substrate read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

An antibody specific for LTA is immobilised on the plate; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-LTA antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The reported product range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <6.2 pg/ml, and the typical total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported recovery values averaged 91% in serum (range 80-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80-89%, n=5).
