Human Tubulin Polymerization Promoting Protein ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Tubulin Polymerization Promoting Protein (TPPP) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for TPPP, with standards and samples added to the wells. After incubation and washing, a biotinylated anti-TPPP detection antibody is added, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm and concentration calculated against the standard curve.

The kit has a stated assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.132 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Validated recovery in serum averaged 91% (range 80%–102%, n=5), in EDTA plasma averaged 90% (range 81%–100%, n=5), and in heparin plasma averaged 84% (range 80%–89%, n=5).
