Human Tryptophan Hydroxylase 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Tryptophan Hydroxylase/TPH in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate, using a biotinylated anti-TPH detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 h 30 m.

According to the manufacturer, the kit has a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.125 ng/ml. Reported average recovery values are 91% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma and 84% in heparin plasma across the tested sample set, with linearity data provided for dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
