Human Tryptophan-2,3-dioxygenase ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Tryptophan 2,3-dioxygenase (TDO2/TDO) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique: an antibody specific for TDO2/TDO is pre-coated onto the microplate, and bound target is detected sequentially using a Biotinylated Anti-TDO2/TDO Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is generated with TMB substrate and quantified by measuring absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with concentration determined against a standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is less than 0.055 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Validation data supplied with the kit cover serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples. Average recovery values are 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%), with dilution linearity reported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions for each matrix.

Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. Detection is colourimetric on a 96-well microplate platform.
