Human Troponin T Type 1, Slow Skeletal ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, this kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Troponin T1/TNT in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. It uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate platform (12 x 8 well strips) together with a biotinylated capture antibody, an HRP-avidin detection reagent, and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported assay range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <6.1 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m.

In spiked recovery testing, serum samples (n=5) showed 80% – 102% recovery (average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5) showed 81% – 100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma (n=5) showed 80% – 89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity data across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions are also reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5 each).

The kit includes the pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
