Human Troponin I Type 3, Cardiac ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Cardiac Troponin I in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay employs an antibody specific for Cardiac Troponin I that is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and test samples are added to the wells and captured analyte is detected using a biotinylated anti-Cardiac Troponin I antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with the reaction product read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The reported quantitative standard range is 31.2–2000 pg/ml and the sensitivity is stated as 13.6 pg/ml. Spike-and-recovery values (n=5) average 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilutional linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Kit components include the pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, Wash Buffer (30X concentrate), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers.
