Human Troponin I Type 1, Slow Skeletal ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human TNNI1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with anti-TNNI1 antibody. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-TNNI1 detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. After addition of acidic stop solution, absorbance is read at 450 nm and the TNNI1 concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

Stated performance: product range 46.8-3000 pg/ml and sensitivity <18.62 pg/ml, read on a colorimetric microplate reader. The pre-coated plate format comprises 12 x 8 well strips and total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Reported spike-and-recovery (n=5) gives average recovery of 91% in serum (range 80-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81-100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80-89%). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is reported as 87-91% to 92-97% for serum, 90-105% to 79-108% for EDTA plasma and 84-95% to 89-91% for heparin plasma.
