Human Tripeptidyl Peptidase I ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Tripeptidyl Peptidase I (TPP1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The kit is specific for human reactivity and uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and test samples are added to wells where TPP1 is captured by the immobilised antibody.

After incubation and washing, a biotinylated anti-TPP1 detection antibody binds the captured analyte, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and TPP1 concentration is calculated against the standard curve. Reported performance figures are an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, a sensitivity of <0.063 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

The kit has also been validated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples, with average recovery values of 91%, 90%, and 84% respectively across tested samples (n=5).
