Human Trichohyalin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Human Trichohyalin ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Trichohyalin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for Trichohyalin pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate supplied as 12 x 8 well strips.

Reported sensitivity is 0.054 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and the colourmetric reaction is read by measuring O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Standards are prepared as a 1:2 dilution series in Sample Dilution Buffer from a 10 ng/ml stock down to 0.156 ng/ml. Reported recovery (n=5) is 80–102% (average 91%) in serum, 81–100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma and 80–89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma. Linearity is reported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and reagents should not be used past the expiration date.
