Human Trefoil Factor 3, Intestinal ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Trefoil Factor 3, Intestinal in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) bearing an antibody specific for Trefoil Factor 3, with detection via a Biotinylated Anti-Trefoil Factor 3 Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and a TMB substrate. The HRP enzymatic reaction yields a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a working range of 125-8000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <46 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Recovery has been demonstrated in serum (n=5, average 91%, range 80-102%), EDTA plasma (n=5, average 90%, range 81-100%) and heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%, range 80-89%), with linearity shown across dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16 in each matrix.
