Human Trefoil Factor 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Trefoil Factor 2 (TFF2). The kit is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and is read on a colourimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

An antibody specific for TFF2 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and samples are added, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-TFF2 Antibody and then an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added to visualise the reaction; colour intensity is proportional to TFF2 concentration. The stated product range is 31.2–2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 13.5 pg/ml, and total assay time is 4h 30m. Storage is at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilised standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A and B (120 µl each), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and plate sealers. Reported recovery ranges are 80–102% for serum, 81–100% for EDTA plasma and 80–89% for heparin plasma (n=5 each), with dilution data shown for 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions.
