Human Transmembrane Protease, Serine 6 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Matriptase 2 (Transmembrane Protease, Serine 6) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The procedure employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format, together with a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the colourimetric readout is measured at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Sensitivity is reported as less than 0.35 ng/ml, with a quantitative range of 0.781-50 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery across n=5 was 80%-102% (average 91%) in serum, 81%-101% (average 91%) in EDTA plasma and 80%-89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% in serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% in EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% in heparin plasma.
