Human Transmembrane Protease, Serine 4 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human TMPRSS4 (Transmembrane Protease, Serine 4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate together with a biotinylated anti-TMPRSS4 detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the enzymatic reaction is visualised using a colourmetric microplate reader, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Reactivity is restricted to human samples.

The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.062 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample recovery has been characterised in serum (n=5, average 91%, range 80% – 102%), EDTA plasma (n=5, average 91%, range 81% – 101%) and heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%, range 80% – 89%) across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
