Human Translocation Associated Membrane Protein 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay from Antibodies.com, this kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Translocation Associated Membrane Protein 1 (TRAM1/TRAM) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-TRAM1/TRAM detection antibody, and an HRP-Avidin conjugate with TMB substrate, producing a blue colour that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Provided components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and adhesive plate sealers.

The quantitative measurement range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.059 ng/ml, and the complete protocol takes approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C and not used past the expiration date.

Validation data include sample recovery for serum (n=5, range 80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81–100%, average 90%), and heparin plasma (n=5, range 80–89%, average 84%). Dilution linearity was tested at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 across serum (87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101%, 92–97%), EDTA plasma (90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101%, 79–108%), and heparin plasma (84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105%, 89–91%).
